If you've booked your vacation at our amazing Sunny Point Lakefront Home, please read this FAQ to learn more. Please note, our staff compiled a comprehensive list of all appliances, items, etc. in the property; if it's not listed in the Answers, the house does not have it. Want to print the list? MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Yes there is a mini split in the living room and there are fans as well.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes. Sheets, Pillows and blankets/quilts/comforters

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No. Hand towels for kitchen and bath but you need to provide your own personal bath and beach towels.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes there is a nice firepit down at the lakeside.  You will need to bring your own wood.  

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 4-6 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Put in the cans provided outside front door.  Trash pick up is Mondays.  Please take cans out to curb Sunday night, place rock on top. Recycling is every other week.  

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A: This home is not part of a community with amenities.   


LAKE  WALLENPAUPACK INFORMATION

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: Yes

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes Lake Wallenpaupack does not have size or motor restrictions.  The dock can accommodate any size boat.

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

HOUSE INFORMATION

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 7 beds: 5 twins (2 can become a king if needed), 1 full, 1 queen.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 2 full: one with shower, one with tub shower.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: 1 small flatscreen, about 26’.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: The fun will never stop at our vacation rentals in Lake Wallenpaupack, PA! We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as a BlueRay DVD Player, Cable, WiFi, and HDMI Ports. 

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has Board Games for a great Family Game Night!

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: It is our priority to make sure each property has the wonderful comforts of home for you to enjoy on your vacation.This house has:

Q: What other amenities and things does this house have?

A: This property also has a Washing Machine, Dryer, an Iron/ Ironing Board, a Vacuum Cleaner, and Hair Dryer.  

Q: How many does the dining room table sit?

A: 12: 8 at the dining room table and 4 bar stools. There’s also seating for at least 8 outside at the picnic table outside.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 8.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A: Yes, there is a wood stove in the living room.  

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes you should bring your own wood for outside and inside burning.  Please remember pine is not to be burned inside.  

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane  

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, there are always two tanks at our homes.  You will need to provide your own charcoal if you choose to use that one.  

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: Yes, there is a canoe. Life jacket are provided in various sizes. There are deck chairs that can be brought down to the lake. There is also a round picnic style table down by the waters edge for quick lunches. These items are available seasonally and will not be out until mid to late April.
