Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?

A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: No

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes.

Q: Does the house have air conditioning?

A: Yes, each bedroom has a mini-split unit and each living room has one.

Q: Are linens provided?

A: Yes. 

Q: Are towels provided?

A: No.

Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?

A: Yes, there is a fire pit and burning is allowed outdoors. However, always make sure there isn't a burn ban in place before building a fire. You will need to bring your own wood.

Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?

A: The GPS will take you right to the house!

Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?

A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 5 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.

Q: When is check-in?

A: 4:00PM

Q: When is check-out?

A: 11:00AM

Q. What will I need to bring?

A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.

Q: What do I do with the trash?

A: Leave garbage at the road in the cans provided.  Information on trash pick up day will be provided in the Guest Book you will receive prior to your arrival.  

Q: Do I have access to community amenities?

A:  This home is not part of a community that has amenities.  It is a private lakefront home with a private dock.

Q: Is the home lakefront?

A: Yes. 

Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?

A: Yes, though you should make sure the docks are out on the lake first! This property has a private dock where you can moor your boat or jet ski(s).

Q: What size boats can the lake/dock accommodate?

A: Lake Wallenpaupack can accommodate all size boats and motors. This property has a private dock which can hold a boat and up to two jet skis.

Q: Where is the nearest boat launch?

Q: Can you swim in the lake?

A: YES! Every lake in the area - big or small, private or public - is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?

A: 10: 4 queens and 6 twins.

Q: How many bathrooms are there?

A: 3 full: 2 showers and 1 tub shower.

Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?

A: 2 flatscreens, one in each living room. There is no cable but we have Firestick and smart TV’s.

Q: What Entertainment options does the house have?

A: We are dedicated to making sure your vacation is fun and activity filled. We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as a DVD Player, WiFi, and HDMI Ports and Firestick. 

Q: What other options for activities does this house have?

A: This house has Ping Pong Table and Board Games for a great Family Game Night!

Q: What Appliances and Supplies does the Kitchen have?

A: 9 at the table and 2 bar stools. There are also 2 high chairs.

Q: How many does the living room sit?

A: 12: 6 people in living room and 6 in family room.

Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?

A:  Yes, a wood burning fireplace

Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?

A: Yes.

Q: What kind of grill does the property have?

A: Propane.

Q: Do we need to bring propane?

A: No, that is always included in our homes.

Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?

A: Yes, there are two kayaks for guests use. There are also life jackets but please call the office to see sizes. There is also a Hot Tub for you and your family to enjoy and a hammock!
