If you've booked your vacation at our beautiful Griffin Cottage home, please read this FAQ to learn more. Please note, our staff compiled a comprehensive list of all appliances, items, etc. in the property; if it's not listed in the Answers, the house does not have it.
MOST COMMON QUESTIONS
Q: What is the minimum age to rent this home?
A: The minimum age of the primary renter is 30 years old. This is true for all our homes and there are no exceptions. This applies to prom, graduation, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.
Q: Is smoking permitted?
A: No.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No.
Q: Does the house have air conditioning?
A: Yes there is central AC throughout the house.
Q: Are linens provided?
A: Yes.
Q: Are towels provided?
A: No.
Q: Does the property have a fire pit? Am I allowed to have a fire outdoors?
A: Yes there is a firepit down at the waters edge.
Q: Will the GPS take me to the house or will I need directions?
A: The GPS will take you right to the house!
Q: Is there parking at the house? How many cars can we park?
A: Yes, there is a private driveway and can accommodate 4 cars. If you will have more than that, please call.
Q: When is check-in?
A: 4:00PM

Q. What will I need to bring?
A: We start every rental off with a starter supply of toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen, garbage bag in kitchen trash can, hand soaps in bathrooms and kitchen (pump or bar), dishwashing soap (pump), dishwasher and laundry pods (in moderation) and hand towels in kitchen and bath. You will need to bring more for if/when you run out.
Q: Do I have access to community amenities?
A: This home is lakefront on Lake Wallenpaupack but is not part of a community that has additional amenities.

A: Yes
Q: Can I bring/rent a powerboat?
A: Yes, you can keep a boat at the dock, there is room for up to two boats.
Q: Can you swim in the lake?
A: YES! the lake is safe to swim in. If there is a dock, you can swim off the dock.

Q: How many beds are there? What sizes are they?
A: 5 beds: 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 sofa bed pull out , 1 Twin
Q: How many bathrooms are there?
A: 4 baths: 3 En-suite bathrooms and 1 full bath. Whirlpool tubs in the master bathroom and the other two en-suite bathrooms.
Q: How many TVs are there? What size are they?
A: 7 TVs. 1 in each of the 3 living rooms, One in each of the three master suites and one in one of the xtra rooms.
Q: What entertainment options does the house have?
A: We provide a lot of options for entertainment such as a VHS and DVD Players, a Stereo, Cable, WiFi, and HDMI Ports.
Q: What other options for activities does this house have?
A: This house has Board Games for a great family game night!
Q: What appliances and supplies does the kitchen have?
A: To ensure our property has a homey feel for you and your family to feel comfortable, we make sure to stock the kitchen with basic supplies. This house has:

A: This property also has a Washing Machine, Dryer, an Iron/ Ironing Board, a Vacuum Cleaner, Central Vacuum with accessories for each floor, Hair Dryer, and Hangers.
Q: How many does the dining room table sit?
A: 10 people. The dining table seats 8 and there more dining room chairs available. There are 3 bar stools at the island. There are two outdoor tables that seats 12.
Q: How many does the living room sit?
A: There are 3 large living rooms, each with the ability to seat over 6 people each.
Q: Does the house have a fireplace / wood stove?
A: There is no working fireplace.
Q: Do we have to bring our own wood?
A: Yes, for the outdoor fire pit.
Q: What kind of grill does the property have?
A: Propane.
Q: Do we need to bring propane?
A: No, that is always included in our homes.
Q: Are there water toys/ life jackets/ beach chairs available?
A: There are two sit on kayaks. We have two adult, two youth and two child life jackets for your use.
