IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
This property is intended for families and respectful groups looking to enjoy a relaxing lakefront getaway. It is not a party house.
Our booking requirements are:
At least 75% of adult guests must be 30 or older, with an exception for children traveling with their parents.
The remaining 25% of adult guests must be at least 25 years old.
All reservations require a signed short-term rental agreement and completed reservation form within 48 hours of receipt.
These requirements help us comply with local township rental ordinances.
Parking: There is convenient parking for approximately six vehicles. With strategic parking, space may be available for up to eight vehicles or two boat trailers.
Day Guests: The maximum permitted occupancy, including overnight and day guests, is 35 people. This allows for up to 15 additional day guests when the overnight occupancy is at its maximum of 20. Parking availability must also be considered.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE LAKE
Lake Wallenpaupack is a beautiful, ever-changing lake, and water levels and dock accessibility vary throughout the year.
The property has a rocky shoreline, and getting down to the docks requires navigating steps and large boulders. Although the backyard is relatively flat and easy to navigate, the shoreline and dock access can be challenging for guests with limited mobility. Please use caution.
Spring: Lake levels are generally high. Dock installation begins in late April, but docks are not guaranteed to be in the water before Memorial Day.
Summer: The lake typically reaches its high-water mark around June 1. Depending on weather and lake conditions, dock walkways may occasionally be underwater.
Fall: Water levels are gradually lowered, and docks begin to be removed for the season. Boats may still be able to dock depending on water depth and dock availability.
Winter: The lake typically freezes, and ice fishing is a popular activity. Access to frozen lake surfaces is at your own risk.
Swimming and floating are popular activities during the warmer months. Lake conditions and water levels naturally vary throughout the year.
HOUSE RULES
To help maintain a peaceful environment for everyone:
No smoking inside either cottage. Outdoor smoking is permitted, but please dispose of all cigarette butts and ashes properly.
No fireworks.
No firearms or discharge of any type of firearm, including BB, air, pellet, and paintball guns.
Quiet hours are 11 PM to 8 AM. This is a family-oriented neighborhood, and noise carries across the water. Please be considerate of neighboring properties, particularly when using the decks and fire pit in the evening.
No pets. This property has a strict no-pet policy without exceptions.
House Features & Amenities
Lake Views - Spectacular views of the Lake from almost every room in the house.
Two private Docks - each with a jet ski ramp. The steps to the docks can be somewhat of a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Please consult if you have questions about dock accessibility.
Property Manager - Need anything? You'll receive a direct line to a property manager upon check-in.
Lake Toys - This home has 4 kayaks and 2 SUP’s for guests to use. There are an assortment of life jackets as well.
Outdoor Spaces - This home sits on a large flat private yard. There is a communal firepit used for both houses that overlooks the lake. Each cottage has a large deck with 8’ picnic tables. Each cottage has an upper covered porch with 2 swings off each master bedroom. Each Cottage bedroom has a private outside entrance if needed.

All bedrooms are located upstairs, each with its own private exterior entrance. The queen bedrooms open onto covered second-floor decks, where you can enjoy your morning coffee and beautiful lake views.
The two kitchens make preparing meals for a large group easy, and a large Weber gas grill is conveniently located between the cottages. The homes are close enough that you can easily move between them while still enjoying the privacy of two separate spaces.

We're also available with 24-hour emergency support should an issue arise during your visit. The owner occasionally stays at the neighboring property and may also be available to assist if needed.

Cute, Comfy Cottages
We enjoyed the roominess of the homes which allowed us to spread out yet to stay close. The upper porches were a draw on the hot afternoons.The campfire site is perfect! The docks gave our swimmers lots of jumping off points and we loved the bedroom spaces where we had versatility for cousins who wanted to have quiet places to play. The bathrooms are small and the only drawback, but we were adaptable. Richard B.

Another great stay
We just had our second stay at this property and it was another great trip. The cabins are as advertised and have plenty of room for us. Cindy is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The whole process was smooth and easy. The only thing I would improve is for the house to provide firewood. Cancelation Policy
One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $500.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
Check-Out Expectations
We kindly request that you turn off all electronics, close and secure all doors/windows, and lock up before departure. We also ask that all trash and food items be removed and placed in the proper waste bins outside of the home. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we would love to host you again!
